SPOILER ALERT.
While we may never actually learn The Doctor’s real name, we do finally get to the bottom of the rather forced mystery of the Impossible Girl.
Yes, Clara Oswald is finally solved.
I could go on about how there no real emotional fallout over the fact that Clara thought The Doctor wanted her as a friend, and travelling Companion, because well HE LIKED HER, but the actual reason was she was a mystery and he was interested.
Travelling with The Doctor is often a reward, and sometimes an accident, Companions earn their places, and sometimes lose them, they give up the adventure, or have it taken from them, but poor Clara she never really had a say.
This of course is my reading of the episode and the relationship between 11 and Clara, which IMO is very weak.
Anyway, lets get to the fashion of the episode.
This is episode is where the Clara Oswald of series 8 and 9 is born, gone are the shapless dresses and baggy cardigans, replaced with a more structured, put together look.
Clara’s dress is no longer available, but it was previous on sale from House of Fraser.
The Alternatives
Clara’s dress is a complete shift with the cute little cap sleeves and collar as one, this is very hard to find so I have put together pinafores and shirts to get the same effect.
